The head coach for Legon Cities FC, Bashir Hayford has set his sight on guiding the team to beat Ebusua Dwarfs on Friday evening after insisting that the encounter will be a do-or-die affair.

Nicknamed the Royals, the capital-based club has gone five matches without a win in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Although Coach Bashir Hayford has only taken charge of two of those matches, pressure has already started mounting with Legon Cities FC currently sitting bottom of the league standings.

Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of the meeting with Ebusua Dwarfs today, the experienced gaffer says he is not feeling any pressure but he is aware his team needs to win at all cost.

“I will not say there is pressure but what I will say is a do-or-die affair on Friday. We have to win, though the league is young but the position we are in is unacceptable and that is why we need to win tomorrow at all cost.

“The boys themselves are poised to win this match,” coach Bashir Hayford said as quoted on the website of Legon Cities FC.

The match against Ebusua Dwarfs will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium today and has been scheduled to kick-off at 18:00GMT.
